September 6 Bus & Brunch Run Saturday ONLY. Bus leaves 7:30 am -----------------------------------------------------------
Tickets sales are complete. If you have not purchased a ticket, DO NOT come to the bus loading area. No tickets are available at the start. NO TICKET, NO BUS!
The Saturday September 6 run will be a mystery tour. You will be bused from the parking lot at Willamette Park to a secret location and run back to the Park where you will get some brunch. The run will be 20 miles. Please sign the waiver before you run. For driving directions see: http://www.teamoregon.com/pmc/runs/willparkdir.htm Road shoes will be fine. We will have 4 -5 aid stations. There will be water and half strength sports drink at the stops. You may want to bring a water bottle for extra aid.

If you have raced, go to http://www.teamoregon.com/publication/online/wiz.html and get your marathon goal based on your race times. Groups are led by volunteer experienced marathoners. Groups range from those able to run a marathon under 3 hours to those wanting to run 5 hours.

Evening Seminar Wednesday Sept 17 -----------------------------------------------------------
The last seminar of the series is Wednesday Sept 17 at 7 pm at Kaiser Townhall from 7-9:30 P.M. For driving directions go to http://www.teamoregon.com/pmc/runs/kaiserdir.htm . The 100 year old Town Hall is a a separate pink building north of the medical offices. It has it's own parking lot at the north end of the complex . This seminar will tell you everything you need to know about running the marathon. It covers taper, carbo loading, developing a race plan, what and when to drink, the course and recovery. FREE Training Run + Shoe Drive Sept 13 8:00am -----------------------------------------------------------
The FREE runs will be 16 or 20 miles starting from Fit Right Northwest - 1207 NW 23rd Ave. at 8 am. For a course map see http://www.teamoregon.com/maps/index.php?id=565.

Shoe Drive Sept 13 -----------------------------------------------------------
Fit Right Northwest Running & Walking Store locations in Portland, OR & Vancouver, WA, are collecting shoes for the non-profit organization, Ethiopia Project. The Ethiopia Project collects new and gently used running shoes in North America and fits them on aspiring athletes in the African nation of Ethiopia.
From 10am-6pm on September 13th, please bring in as many old pairs of running and walking shoes that you have to either store location. For every pair that you donate, Fit Right NW will give you a coupon good for $5.00 off *MSRP of shoes or apparel purchase.
