POST MARATHON PARTY THURSDAY OCT 26
Celebrate your fall marathon with PMC - all the people you trained with throughout the summer would love to hear your stories! Even if you haven't raced yet - guaranteed to be an evening of sharing and fun! Also please come if you haven't run with PMC for a bit and you just want to see some friends. Please share with non-social media friends. Hope to see you there!

PORTLAND MARATHON TRAINING CLINIC THANKS
Training Clinic coaches talked to many of you in the finish line tent and loved hearing your great marathon stories. Visit our facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/marathonclinic to view our pictures from the finish line tent. We know most of you enjoyed great success. We'd like to thank our great volunteer group leaders, many of whom had wonderful marathons with a number of personal bests.
Our main thanks go to the Portland Marathon for all its support for the clinic and the free training runs. The free training runs are a big focus of the Marathon community Spirit. Thanks to Road Runner Sports Tualatin and NW 23rd, Mountain Hardwear , Club Sport and Athleta brewery Block and Washington Square for hosting long runs, supplying aid stations on those runs and having post run refreshments. To all of you who volunteered to help at our aid stations, we commend your spirit and help Thanks to Coach Diane Lechner who coordinated this years runs and speedwork sessions and for her useful tips every weekend. Thanks to Coach DeeAnn Dougherty for her help in keeping runners healthy and speedwork coaching. Thanks to retired Coaches Warren & Patti Finke for help marking courses and occasional group leader meetings. Thanks to all of you who followed the safety rules and enjoyed the company of other runners in your quest for marathon success. We hope to see all of you marathon runners back next spring for the free training runs.
