Jane has been running with the Portland Marathon Clinic since 2009, and has been a group leader since 2012. She has completed 10 marathons, and taken over 20 minutes off her first marathon time since running with the Portland Marathon Clinic. Jane credits the PMC with teaching her how to train smart, avoid injuries, and how to enjoying running marathons. In her non-running time, Jane works for the City of Portland and enjoys other outside pursuits with her husband and golden retriever.

TRAINING RUN JUNE 18
The runs this Saturday will be 12, 14 & 16 miles at 8 am from Mountain Hardwear, 722 SW Taylor, Portland. The doors will be open at 7:30 am. For directions to the start see http://www.teamoregon.com/pmc/training/runs/mtnhdwdir.htm. This weeks run will be the first 6- 8 miles of http://www.teamoregon.com/maps/index.php?id=10726 . There will be 2 aid stations accessible both out and back, we suggest carrying water for the best hydration.
TRAINING RUN JUNE 25
This weekends' training run meets at Club Sport 18120 SW Lower Boones Ferry Rd, Tigard, OR 97224 at 8 am and will feature an 13,15 or 16 miles. Please park in the Tualatin Foursquare Church lot on the corner of Childs Road & Boones Ferry, look for big blue Club Sport building across Childs Road Meet us inside the Club at the top of the stairs to sign waivers & use bathrooms. The course will use parts of the Fanno Creek Trail, see http://teamoregon.com/maps/index.php?id=10720. There will be 1 aid station supplied by Club Sport. Carrying water or sports drink is recommended. Please no headphones, dogs or baby joggers.
COACHED TRACK WORKOUTS START JUNE 23
PMC Coaching is for all marathoners, both first timers and those of you wanting to improve your time. The $125 marathon clinic package includes the Saturday long run, a midweek coached run or track session, the new edition of "Marathoning Start to Finish", a personalized online training schedule and log and a micro fiber Portland Marathon Training Clinic shirt . The midweek runs will meet at Wilson High School Thursday 6pm starting June 23. For location see http://teamoregon.com/maps/index.php?id=10723. Runs will include fartlek, hill runs and track workouts to prepare runners to run or race the marathon. All clinic participants can learn all about marathoning through the on demand video webcasts. Topics include training plans, nutrition, physiology, psychology, flexibility/strength and speedwork.
