Marathon Clinic News 09/05/2018

KIAH

Kiah has been marathoning since 2005 and has been a group leader with the Clinic since 2008. She has run 20+ marathons and 50K's to date and credits the Clinic with helping her shave 40 minutes off her marathon time. Her passion for running led her to become a RRCA certified coach and to also coach middle school track and cross country. She looks forward to running Portlandathon in October!

BUS & BRUNCH RUN SEPTEMBER 8 AT 7:30AM

This Saturday is the Bus and Brunch Run! Where is the run this year? Only ticket holders will find out Saturday morning! Bus leaves promptly at 7:30AM.

Ticket sales are CLOSED. There are no day-of-run sign ups. No ticket, no bus, no run, no brunch. Buses leave the Willamette Park (off Macadam) parking lot at 7:30AM. You will be transported from this point to a SECRET LOCATION and run 20 miles back to Willamette Park where you will enjoy some hard-earned brunch.

We suggest you carpool and park in the local neighborhood. If you choose to park in the Willamette Park lot, there is a fee and note that parking is limited. Please arrive early enough to pay for parking or walk to the park and use the restrooms. Set your alarm earlier, buses leave promptly at 7:30AM. Remember your water bottle for between aid station sips!

TRAINING RUN SEPT. 15: ROADRUNNER SPORTS NW 23RD

The 8AM run this Saturday offers 16 or 20 miles from Roadrunner Sports at 29 NW 23 Place in Portland. The doors will open at 7:30AM. No parking in the Uptown Center, tickets will be given. Please find a 4 hour meter on the street (if that's long enough for you) or use the pay lot on 23rd & Glisan. The course will use the Tilikum Crossing to the east side, map here: http://www.teamoregon.com/maps/index.php?id=10761. There will be 2 aid stations accessible both out and back thanks to Roadrunner Sports, and you will also want to carry a water bottle for hydration.
